General Contractors | Ohio
It all started in 1973, in the small
town of Jefferson, Ohio.
Charles A. Borsukoff had the
vision of developing some old
farm land into Condominiums
(an idea which was way ahead
of its time). The condominium
complex Heritage Hills, which is
still in exsistence today, consists
of 5 separate buildings with 4 units in each. The
condominium project was one of the first in Northeast, Ohio
and the first in Ashtabula County and was a private project
that cost right around $900,000. After that Charles A.
Borsukoff and Associates was incorporated as a union
construction company and the rest is history.
More than 20 years later Borsukoff will acquire JCI
Contractors and will build the first lakefront condominium
complex, Sturgeon Point, at Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio.
Sturgeon Point was a complete design/build project by JCI.
The complex was the first of its kind in either Ashtabula or
Lake county.

After more then 30 years of expansion
and growth and hundreds of projects,
JCI Contractors is still at full throttle
and the same management exists
today. The company is still closely held
by the Borsukoff family while Charles A.
is still the current president and C.E.O.
However, while most of JCI's work is
outside of Ashtabula, the companys
roots still run deep within the county.
